Doxycycline 100 mg
Reliable option with proven efficacy in the following conditions:
1- skin infections (impetigo, skin abscesses, boils, leg ulcers, and diabetic foot ulcers).
2- Moderate to severe acne (one capsule daily for 12 weeks = 75% improvement in lesion severity).
3- Urogenital infections caused by Chlamydia trachomatis, including cervicitis, urethritis, and pelvic inflammatory disease in women (first-line treatment: one capsule twice daily for 7 days = 95% efficacy).
4- Upper respiratory tract infections and acute bacterial sinusitis (especially in cases of penicillin allergy or bacterial resistance).
5- Lower respiratory tract infections and community-acquired pneumonia (especially macrolide-resistant cases).
