Aspocid

Aspocid:

Aspirin with higher stability… and better gastric protection

Aspocid is an advanced pharmaceutical form of aspirin, produced by Perfect drug industry as capsules containing enteric-coated aspirin pellets, providing greater protection against the gastric-irritating effect of aspirin and higher aspirin stability compared with enteric-coated tablets.

Why choose Aspocid?

  1. Less gastric irritation:
    • The enteric-coated pellets do not dissolve in the stomach and pass intact into the intestine, leaving the stomach faster than whole tablets, which may remain longer in the stomach and increase the likelihood of dissolution of the protective enteric coating.
    • Aspocid reduces the direct contact of aspirin with the gastric mucosa, thereby decreasing local irritation, acidity, and heartburn.
  1. Higher Aspirin stability:
    • Double protection against light and moisture, which are responsible for aspirin degradation.
    • Avoidance of high compression pressure during manufacturing, which may cause fragmentation of some Aspirin particles as occurs with tablets.
    • Reduced secondary interactions with excipients during manufacturing, helping to slow down degradation of the active ingredient.
  1. Ease of swallowing:

Thanks to the smooth and streamlined capsule design, especially suitable for elderly patients.

  1. Precise and effective absorption:

Release of aspirin in the alkaline environment of the intestine ensures optimal absorption and better drug bioavailability in the bloodstream, achieving therapeutic benefit with high efficiency.

Dosage:

As prescribed by the physician; to be taken on an empty stomach (one hour before meals).
